gonnabe writers. I teach the craft of writing great fiction. I teach

teach how to do "Mad Genius Marketing" for your novel once it's written
-- because your publisher is way more likely to promote your work if
you're promoting it yourself.

Teaching all that is a pretty tall order. You may be asking who exactly
I think I am and why am I qualified to teach anything? That's a fair
question.

The short answer is that I've been there. I did my time as a wannabe --
for a lot longer than any sane person should have to. I spent 12 years
from the day I started writing my first novel until the day I saw it on
the shelves. But that was a long time ago. I've now published half a
dozen novels. I've won about a dozen awards and honors for my fiction
writing. I've been teaching fiction at writing conferences for years.

That's enough about me. If you want to know all the gunky personal
details, shame on you, but check out my personal web site. On the other

That's what I care about, because that's what will make you or me or
anyone else successful as a writer. Being pretty won't help. Being
popular won't help. Using great fonts won't help. Great organization
keeps you productive. Great creative skill will sell you to the
publisher. Great marketing will sell you to the reader.

So I teach organizing and creating and marketing. That's all I do on
this site. Dig in. Pork out. Have fun!

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
